DIY Garage Tile Fitting Guide
Follow these simple steps below to install your garage tiles like a professional
1
Prepare the surface
Clean, sweep and dry your garage floor thoroughly. Remove any oil, grease, or debris to ensure proper tile fitment allowing your tiles to lay flat and flush.
2
Plan your layout
Measure your space and plan the tile layout, starting from a corner or central point for the best visual effect. Create a customized floor area, parking bay, or coordinate with matching décor colours.
3
Begin installation
Start laying tiles from your chosen starting point. Connect the interlocking edges firmly by pressing down.
4
Continue the pattern
Work row by row, ensuring each tile clicks securely into place. Use a rubber mallet if needed for a tight fit.
5
Cut edge tiles
Measure and cut tiles to fit edges and corners using a fine tooth saw, hacksaw or jigsaw for a professional finish.
6
Final inspection
Make sure all connections are secure and the tiles are level. Your floor space is now ready for use.
